The Salva-Dantas had an end-of-year party with more than 35 kids in the Tenorio-Miravalles Corridor. Throughout the year the participant children were able to develop their teamwork skills, learn about tapirs, and increase their local community’s territory, culture, history, and identity. In 2023, the Salva-Dantas will seek for new kids to join the program. It is really motivating to see the children celebrate what they have learned during the year and how the bonds between them have been strengthened.

Oncilla Conservation continues strengthening the relationship with the community of Herradura de Rivas through conservation, education, and research activities. As a celebration for the end of year, the kids were invited to Christmas party. They received Oncilla Conservation themed school supplies to celebrate their commitment to protect the species in the area.
