During November, three talks about Tlaloc Conservation program were given. Now more and more people know about the existence and conservation status of Tlalocohyla celeste. “The talks were a very emotional event for me. I have always liked to teach or talk about what I do or what I am passionate about. Designing those talks lifted my spirits to continue with the project.” Valeria Aspinall, Coordinator of Tlaloc conservation.

COMMUNICATING TO PROTECT ENDANGERED SPECIES.

Communication goes beyond making our work visible, it is about involving and creating a relationship with the people who approach us. After the successful official delivery of the mural in Herradura de Rivas, the foundation was invited to participate in the presentation of information booths at Amon Solar in San Jose and the Jaguar Festival in Tortuguero where we were approached by potential and future collaborators in our conservation actions.
