The July meeting of Club Manatee was attended by 17 teenagers excited about engaging with manatee conservation in Barra Colorado. It has been great to see the sustained interest in this subject within the youth of the community! Additionally, while the CRWF team was present in Barra del Colorado, they gave 4 talks about amphibians and reptiles.
Now, Vida Entre Vólcanes and Club Manatee belong to the communities, and our task is to continue supporting and guiding their initiatives
The Nai team has been engaging in an educational initiative this month through hosting two new veterinary interns, from Germany and Mexico. It has been a pleasure collaborating with young veterinarians from other countries and sharing knowledge of tapir conservation efforts with them. The Nai team is very excited to expand this program and provide even more learning opportunities for students in the future.
