This month Nai joined forces with the photographer, Alejandro Prieto, and the musician and biological illustrator, Marco Molina, to host a fundraiser for the tapir population and movement monitoring project. The event included a photo auction, live music, and a talk given by Jorge Rojas. People including students, local residents of San Jose, and friends and family of the team attended and learned about Nai’s current work. It was a great opportunity to spread awareness of tapir conservation efforts and the foundation as a whole.

The photo exhibition shared information with many people from San Jose, allowing them to learn about Nai’s activities in the Tenorio Miravalles Biological Corridor. Uniting people and sharing our work with them was very gratifying, and it provided motivation to continue our work
